Monthly Statistical Report in the field of Access to Information and Personal Data Protection 31.01.2010. PENDING: 862 DONE: 6815
S U M M A R Y of activities of the Service of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection in January 2010 I. Deciding cases In January 2009, 229 cases were received, 221 cases in the field of free access to information and 8 cases in the field of personal data protection. From the previous period were forwarded non-finalized 757 cases, so that in total in October 986 cases were processed, out of which 124 cases were decided (118 cases in the field of free access to information and 6 cases in the field of personal data protection). 862 cases remained unsettled (845 complaints from the field on free access of information and 17 cases from the field on personal data protection). Additional 70 oral calls of citizens have been registered in the Commissioner’s Service, for consultations regarding exercising rights to free access to information, as well as 17 contacts initiated by clients, that is, of those handling personal data in different institutions, or companies, regarding consultations pertaining to Personal Data Protection Law implementation.
