This year, like in so many other democracies around the world, Serbia will be celebrating September 28th - the 'Right to Know' Day. The main event organized by the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, OSCE, the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia, and the Coalition for Free Access to Information will be held at the Media Center in Belgrade.
On September 28th, the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, Rodoljub Sabic, will present recognition awards to individuals who contributed to an easier and freer access to information. The recipients of the awards were selected by representatives of the Independent Association of Journalists of Serbia, the Leskovac People's Parliament, the Open Society Foundation, Citizens' Association 'Sretenje' from Pozega, and 'Transparency Serbia'. |
